On April 25, the 2025 China Humanoid Robot Ecosystem Conference and Intelligent Robot and Future Technology Exhibition kicked off in Shanghai. The conference fully displayed the latest scientific research results and cutting-edge technology applications in the industry, deeply shared industry development trends and market insights, and injected new momentum into the development of the global intelligent robot industry.

At this conference, Yan Hua, R&D Director of Jiangsu Beiren, delivered a keynote speech on "Embodied Intelligence Reshaping Welding Robot Applications", focusing on sharing the technical advantages and engineering applications of Jiangsu Beiren's embodied intelligent welding robots.

Jiangsu Beiren's embodied intelligent welding robot breaks through the traditional "pre-programmed execution" industrial robot paradigm and builds an intelligent system with "perception-decision-execution" closed-loop capabilities. Based on the foundation technologies such as multi-dimensional perception system, edge computing platform, process autonomous optimization and industrial-grade AI vertical domain large model, it innovatively proposes the "intelligence-skill-function" technical framework, self-developed welding process generation large model and motion planning large model, giving the welding robot human-like environmental understanding, autonomous decision-making and precise operation capabilities, and realizing the process autonomy and trajectory autonomy of the welding robot.

Jiangsu Beiren's embodied intelligent welding robot can be widely used in small-batch and multi-variety welding scenarios such as ships, elevators, and heavy steel. At present, Jiangsu Beiren has successfully implemented multiple project cases.

Jiangsu Beiren cooperated with a well-known domestic shipbuilding company in a project that integrated laser sensing technology and welding process expert database to achieve full-process automation of welding operations. The system has functions such as workpiece starting point detection, automatic acquisition of weld groove size, automatic planning of layer distribution, and automatic calculation of welding parameters. It has good adaptability to the welding of workpieces with large size, different specifications, and large processing and assembly errors.

The Jiangsu Beiren embodied intelligent welding robot elevator car bottom project provides a teaching-free welding workstation for a well-known domestic elevator company. The workstation is compatible with elevator platforms of various specifications. The dual robots and dual workstations can operate stably and continuously for 24 hours, doubling production efficiency and helping customers reduce costs, improve quality and increase efficiency.
